The Challenge

Evolve executives needed to hone and polish presentation delivery skills in preparation for a major product launch. B3 Communications worked with the new spokespeople to prepare them for regular interaction with a variety of influential audiences, including press, research analysts and investors.

The B3 Communications Solution

B3 Communications coached Evolve executives, providing basic introductory skills to hone and polish presentation delivery and improve their delivery of key messages, which is vital to on-target communication.

B3 Communications’ presentation coaching session consisted of a combination of content refinement in a conference room and delivery refinement where executives were videotaped and critiqued.

The B3 team worked with Evolve executives to finalize positioning and key messages, review and finalize presentation content, develop sound bytes and create a Q&A script. B3 Communications then conducted a videotaped dry run and reviewed and critiqued the video, providing executives with feedback and tips for improving their presentation delivery.

Results

The B3 Communications media training session helped Evolve’s new spokespeople understand and more effectively communicate to an influential audience; hone key messages; improve delivery style; and empower executives to handle tough questions.

Following the training, the new spokespeople conducted 21 press interviews and garnered 16 executive quotes in 18 stories, with 100 percent of stories being on message.
