Laurie Gibson has over 20 years of experience in public relations and software sales. She has extensive expertise delivering results for enterprise software companies large and small as well as SaaS companies. Laurie has built a reputation as one of the best media relations pros in the business. Laurie has built a reputation as one of the best media relations pros in the business. She gets coverage even when it doesn't seem possible, and she has a lot of fun in the process. Laurie began working with B3 Communications at its inception in January 1999. She focuses her efforts on developing and implementing successful media relations programs for her clients. She has worked in agencies and corporations and has experience with all types of media, including print publications (IT, vertical, and business), online venues (news sites, newsletters, etc.), and broadcast (TV and radio). Laurie secures coverage by proactively pitching client news, contributed articles, customer stories, feature stories, and product reviews.

Throughout her career, Laurie has provided media relations services to many companies, including database provider Pervasive, information appliances manufacturer Hewlett Packard, enterprise software developer PeopleSoft, application development providers Ochre and Prodera, telephony providers Altitude Software and WBT Systems, and e-commerce developer, Intershop.

Prior to entering the field of high-tech public relations, Laurie held various sales management positions at Macromedia, Computerware, and Bonsu.

Laurie supports a number of charitable organizations, including her local branch of The Humane Society, with financial and material donations. Over the years, she has purchased and donated hundreds of dolls and action figures to her local fire department's holiday program, Toys for Tots. Recently, she donated a large batch of toys to an orphanage in Mexico, where they were especially appreciated.

Laurie has a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science, International Relations from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
